The little box I wait for so eagerly every month arrived last week, but I just couldn’t find the time to write about it. However on the bright side, I have used all of the products by now so can write much more about each of them.
This month’s box has some really cute winter essentials. Although I am not a fan of winter and the cold, I do love all the winter stuff, from snuggly pyjamas to steaming coffee and hot chocolate. Yum!
Beauty bits
Yves Rocher Eyeshadow full size – This is a single eye shadow with a sponge tip applicator included. The shade I received is Brun Café Mat which is a dark brown shade. The colour is intense with a creamy powdered texture. Definitely will be using it this holiday season!
My little Beauty Volume and Care Mascara full size – The mascara is from the mylittlebeauty range – Mylittlebox’s own beauty range. I must say I was quite impressed with this product. It does what it says – separates the lashes and gives them a fanned look. I also like that it doesn’t clump like a lot other mascaras do.
Arcancil Star Liner Waterproof Eyeliner full size – I have quite a few eyeliners in my makeup collection but since I use an eyeliner everyday, I didn’t mind getting another one. This crayon eyeliner is a nice creamy dark black colour and does indeed seem to be as long lasting as it claims to be. I love using this on the waterline as it makes my eyes look pretty 😉 I think it would really work to create a smokey eye effect too!
Lifestyle bits
My little Bouillotte by Tsumori Chisato – This heat cushion is a pretty red colour with polka dots. Simply warm the cushion for 20-30 seconds (depending on your microwave) before use. It worked well to keep my hands warm although the colour did run out a bit. Overall a nice product and will be a great companion in the colder months to come.
Espresso Mug – This was a really cute addition to the box – an espresso mug with an illustration of a woman drinking coffee on one side and the other side reads “How is your day gonna be?”
The other bits included apart from the beauty and lifestyle bits are the My little world magazine which includes beauty tips, hair tutorials, recipes and more and the cute little card which is always one of my favorite items in the box.
The card pretty much sums up what the next couple of months are going to look like 😉
