Paris

Visiting Paris had always been a dream, so even just planning the trip felt surreal. And to top it off, we found an apartment on airbnb which had an amazing view of the Eiffel tower. I would start my day looking at the Eiffel tower and go to bed looking at the tower, beautifully lit up – it was perfect!

We took on the city equipped with the Metro map app on our phone and a list of things I HAD to do while we were there.

Apart from visiting the tourist places and ofcourse stuffing ourselves with a lot of yummy food, we walked around quite a bit clicking pictures and getting a feel of the city. Here are a few out of some 500 or so pictures I clicked 🙂

I clicked this from the bed, the first thing I saw when I
opened my eyes every morning 🙂

Parc Monceau

Jardin du Luxembourg
The Grand Galeries Lafeyette

The beautiful Sacré-Couer

The Louvre

I couldn’t make up my mind between Ladurée and Pierre Hermé. But then the flavours at Pierre Hermé excited me more.

Every night we got off one station before ours and walked along the Seine,

looking at the lit up tower

What a fabulous holiday this has been! Should definitely hop across the channel more often.

Au revoir, mes amis!
