Pink Lining Yummy Mummy (Sam the dalmatian) bag review

It is amazing how priorities change when you are a mommy to be or become a mommy. When I found out I was expecting, every decision revolved around the little thing in my tummy. The winter sales and boxing day sales this time were focused on baby stuff. I didn’t however go crazy but did buy myself a yummy mummy changing bag from pink lining.

There are a lot of lovely designs to choose from but when I was looking around, there were only a few which were on sale and I went for the ‘Sam the dalmatian’ one. The retail price of the bags is £79 but I got this in the sale for £39.99 (yay!!). Although I think it is definitely worth paying the full price for it!

The external of the bag is cream colour with pink and white striped handles and strap and yes it has dalmatians all over.

What I found really convenient and useful was the storage space with so many compartments serving a purpose each.

The bag has 2 elasticated side pockets, ideal for keeping a drink or water bottle.

There is a pocket on front of the bag which has the iconic cupcake with the yummy mummy slogan on it. The pocket is secured with a magnetic button. I think this would be perfect to keep my phone, lip balm and keys in.

The bag has carry handles and also has a removable and adjustable shoulder strap.

The lining inside the bag is pink! 🙂 and is water resistant which is brilliant in case of any spillage – it would be easy to wipe clean. Inside the bag there are 2 insulated bottle holders, 2 nappy pockets, a pen holder (because you never know when you’ll need one!), a key fob, a phone pocket and a small zip pocket.

The bag also comes with a detachable mirror, a padded changing mat and a wet zip bag, both with cupcakes on them :). The wet bag would be great to keep any dirty or soiled clothes.

You wouldn’t think this bag would hold so much by just looking at it from the outside. There is enough storage to carry the things you would otherwise carry in your handbag, alongwith all the baby/child related things.

I had heard good reviews about these bags and had looked at a few videos online too before buying it and I have to say this bag actually made me more happy than a designer hand bag would have. Can’t wait to use it! 🙂
